This is the European version of Silverbolt, the leader of the Aerialbots. Instead of being made and printed in Japan like the US version, it was made in Macau and the packaging and paperwork was printed in Hong Kong.
There's a discrepancy between the assortment number on the packaging and the assortment number in the 1986 Dutch Hasbro dealer catalog. On the packaging Silverbolt has assortment number 9047, while the Dutch Hasbro catalog has Silverbolt, Hot Spot, Motormaster and Onslaught all four listed as being part of assortment number 9131.
This same discrepancy is observed on Motormaster's and Onslaught's packaging. They have assortment number 9062 printed on their packaging instead of 9131. I haven't confirmed this error on Hot Spot's packaging (because I don't own that particular toy yet), but I would assume that Hot Spot will have the 9047 assortment number printed on the packaging, just like Silverbolt.
It remains to be seen if this was purely a Dutch assortment number mismatch, because I would have to compare this with other 1986 European Hasbro dealer catalogs, but as these are typical Milton Bradley (MB) assortment numbers and MB was responsible for the distribution of Transformers in most of continental Europe, I would assume that these assortment numbers were valid across all of the MB territories. A possible explanation is that MB changed their mind with regards to the assortments that they would offer to retailers.
